Maayan Zilberman, 1/2 of the design duo for The Lake and Stars, goes grey.
How inspirational is this? Yesterday, Refinery 29 did an Un-Makeover story on one of our fave designers, Maayan Zilberman of The Lake and Stars. Maayan was going pre-maturely grey and decided to take the plunge and stop dying her hair to go au natural. ”I noticed that the gray was sparkly, and a nicer look than I expected,” says Maayan. “I always talk about how it’s important to stick to your natural look, and to emphasize what makes you unique and beautiful — I felt like this would be a perfect time to embrace that idea.”

move! It is so important to own what you’ve got and be who you are — inside and out! It is so hard to change the vision we see of ourselves but to grow into the woman that we want to be then we must learn to accept who we are becoming. Bravo Maayan for being so courageous and authentic!! You are an inspiration and look pretty chic!
Be who you are but know it’s a process that you’re figuring that out for yourself!

Beautiful– ( I have no idea if any of my other attempts this past few minutes posted).. Anyhow.. It’s wonderful seeing the cool side of women.. Bless young women who embrace the gray.. Every once in a while you cross paths with a really nice looking young woman. It takes a long long while to change perception but it’s happening everywhere.. Do you remember the slacks to Jeans transition?
